Get Moving: Easy Physical Activities, Done at Home (or in Public Environments) and at No Cost
Have you ever stopped to think about how our bodies were made to move? Even though a busy routine, tiredness or lack of time are common obstacles, taking care of our health can be simpler (and more accessible) than it seems.
The good news is that you can start with what you have, where you are and at whatever pace you can. Whether you're a sedentary person looking to take the first step, or someone who already moves and is looking for new ways to exercise, this post is for you.
Simple Exercises You Can Do at Home or in Public Places
You don't need a gym or expensive equipment. Here are some ideas that work very well:
Walking or dancing in your environment: Put on some lively music and walk or dance for 15 to 30 minutes. As well as being fun, it's great cardiovascular exercise.
Squats: They strengthen the legs and glutes. Start with 10 repetitions and gradually increase.
Jumping jacks: Activate the whole body and help with coordination. Do them for 30 seconds and rest.
Stretches: Ideal for starting or ending the day. They loosen up the muscles and improve posture.
Climbing stairs: If you live in a building or house with stairs, take advantage of this! Going up and down is excellent exercise.
Bodyweight exercises: Push-ups with your knees on the floor, simple sit-ups or even sitting down and getting up from a chair.
All this can be done with little space, at your own pace and at no cost.

Everyone has a starting point. If you've been sedentary for a long time, no problem - the important thing is to start slowly and respect your body's limits. A little bit a day makes a difference.

Try to move your body at least 3 to 5 times a week, even if it's just for 20 minutes a day. Regularity is more important than intensity. Your body responds to habit, and in a few weeks you'll notice more energy, improved sleep, mood, and even better focus.
